Calderwood welcomed Santa Claus to the village on Thursday 1st December for a very special visit!
Calderwood residents gathered at the bottom of Little Shiel Road where they received lanterns and glowsticks to light the way for Santa's sleigh during his parade through Calderwood. The procession ended at the Calderwood Christmas tree; which was kindly donated to the community by Scottish Woodlands.
Residents were delighted to welcome Councillor Dave King to the event who, this year, switched on the Christmas tree lights.
The festivities continued after with refreshments on offer from the catering marquee. And the children of Calderwood were given the opportunity to visit Santa in his grotto where they received an early Christmas present!
Peter Stirling attended the event with his daughter, and they brought with them brussel sprouts from Peter's farm in Arbroath for the residents of Calderwood to enjoy.
This event couldn't have happened without the hard work of the Calderwood Residents Association (CRA). Thank-you for a truly magical event!
From everyone here at Stirling Developments, we would like to wish all the residents at Calderwood a
Merry Christmas and a happy New Year!
